Russel who had never even been near a Merc gets behind the wheel and would have won if it wasn't for Merc's f-up during the pit stop. He finished in second. Either Russel is something we haven't seen before or Merc is way ahead of the rest.07-01-2022 07:57

It is not self evident that LH will be the champ 2022. The season has not started yet. That he would be the champ 2021and thus would collect his 8th title was a given for Merc and a host of others. His knighthood was based, I think, to large extent on this presumption. Thus his great disappoint and Merc's is understandable.05-01-2022 11:00

You can't excuse yourself like Bottas has done most of the time and always in a wheel to wheel situation. Won't get you anywhere, wheather on the race track or outside it. No matter how much hand wringing, Max has been declared wc f1 2021. Right or wrong these are facts. It is not a bad habit to deal with facts. That he deserved the title is above doubt. As for season 2022, I can understand that LH is hesitating despite the amount of money MB can afford to throw at the development of the new car. All the teams start from almost scratch. It is not self evidens that LH and MV Will rule the roost next year. Psycolocically LH is at an disadvantage and might crack. On the other hand he can not afford to call it quits, that would cast a long shadow on his recent comments on manliness.31-12-2021 14:20
